Form & Infinity ~ Kundalini Yoga Series

“Self healing is a process that occurs through the relationship between the physical and infinite power of the soul. It is a contract, a union. That is the science of Kundalini Yoga.” Yogi Bhajan

10 CLASS SERIES / THURSDAYS 7 TO 8.30PM / YOGA ON HARRIS, 15 HARRIS STREET PALMYRA / MAY 2ND TO JULY 4TH

We are all seeking some kind of juice, some taste of beauty in our lives. We intuit that a deep flow of energy that enlivens and rejuvenates you from within is possible. And it IS. The place to experience it is right here, in the body.

All asana – physical posture – is to enable a marriage between form and formless, spirit and matter. Between posture, 3D shape and ego and the energy of consciousness, Kundalini, the soul made corporeal.

In this series we will explore the sacred geometry of Kundalini Yoga. What are the underlying codes that make the magic happen, through the asanas, mudras, meditations and mantras? What is the possibility and the invitation, in the moment, through the breath? And when the energy is activated and begins to flow, what’s the key to remembering the paradoxical truth that I am at once form and formless, finite and infinite and to bring that into my life, habits and daily rhythms.

No matter your level of experience with Kundalini Yoga, you’re invited to these 10 classes to create an opening for a personally impersonal experience of union and self-healing. The activation of the flow of energy is not dependent on physical shape or fitness. It’s available to everyone, no matter what.

Through physical posture and movement, through meditation and the sacred forms of mantra and shabd (sounds that liberate) you are invited to move into that paradoxical place where the finite meets the infinite and to experience the incredible energy that flows on into your life and daily action through this holy matrimony.

Each class will offer you something practical to explore at home - an aspect of yogic habit and lifestyle that can help you embody and remember the infinite flow of your spirit in your every day.

“Listen to the unstruck bells and drums!
Love is here; plunge into its rapture!
Rains pour down without water;
Rivers are streams of light.

How could I ever express
How blessed I feel
To revel in such vast ecstasy
In my own body?

This is the music
Of soul and soul meeting.
Of the forgetting of all grief.
This is the music
That transcends all coming and going.”

Kabir, the Sufi weaver and poet
